A career as an ISL Support Worker is always dynamic.
As well as daily tasks like preparing meals and housework, a typical day can involve everything from the basics to the thrilling!
• Attending activities with the people we support outside the home including: sports groups; gardening; arts and crafts; music classes; visits to the cinema and enjoying the great outdoors.
• Supervising, educating and supporting with activities at home including cooking, cleaning, personal care and daily living tasks.
• Supporting with health and wellbeing including administration of medicine, booking and going to medical appointments, supporting with healthy eating and being active.
Many of the people we support have had the opportunity to experience once-in-a-lifetime activities such as flying in a helicopter, adventuring around Europe, kayaking and indoor skydiving. Our staff enable the people we support to achieve their aspirations and equally get to enjoy these activities alongside them.
