person - centred support
At Natural Ability, we are committed to providing person-centred support. We strongly believe in supporting individuals based on their unique goals and aspirations, without underestimating their abilities or limiting their experiences due to risk aversion.

Recently, we asked Stephen about his favourite aspects of being with Natural Ability and what he feels we have helped him accomplish. Stephen was happy to share his bucket list.
Stephen has lots of things on his bucket list
that he wants to achieve.
Being in supported living and having his own support has helped him achieve some of those things and he plans to do so much more....

As well as being on TV, Stephen likes going to watch TV shows being made. Stephen and members of his support team have been audience members for Comic Relief, game shows and other TV shows.

Travelling
Stephen loves visiting new places and trying new things, one of Stephens goals was to travel around Europe visiting Prague, Slovakia, Budapest and Vienna. Stephen wanted to use public transport to prove that adults with learning disabilities could achieve anything and see how accessible it was. Stephen has also been on holidays abroad and been on many city breaks with his support team - Christmas markets and theme parks being some of his favourites.
Being Outdoors
Stephen is a big lover of the great outdoors and recently visited the lake district where he tackled his first Mountain. He achieved this with ease and walked for miles. This photo was taken at Derwent Water and shows Stephen taking a well earned rest after his 12 mile walk!
