I am originally from Consett, but now live in the beautiful North Pennines, close to one of Natural Ability’s bases at Sinderhope.

 

Recently retired from the field of Special Needs Education, my experience covers many years as a teacher, manager and, most recently, course leader for the PGCE in SEND/Learning Difficulties & Disabilities in the School of Education at Newcastle College.

I am very glad that I now have the opportunity to contribute to the great work that Natural Ability does to further inclusivity and opportunities for young people who have learning disabilities/additional needs.
