The Orchard, Natural Ability's latest offering, is a day service centre dedicated to adults with learning disabilities. Located at West Orchard House on Allendale Road in Hexham, The Orchard provides a welcoming environment where individuals can engage in a variety of activities, build skills, learn, and participate in social circles and events. Each group session accommodates up to 10 individuals, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Session Structure
The Orchard's sessions are thoughtfully structured into three key areas:
Focus & Learning: Activities designed to enhance knowledge and practical skills.
Creativity & Energy: Engaging creative pursuits that energize and inspire.
Relaxation & Social: Opportunities for relaxation and social interaction.

The Orchard team offers a comprehensive program of modules tailored to the diverse interests and needs of participants, ensuring a broad and enriching experience.

Community Integration
A core aspect of The Orchard's ethos is fostering community involvement. Regular outings and community projects in Hexham and the wider Northumberland area are integral parts of the program, promoting a sense of belonging and active participation in the local community.

Operating Hours
The Orchard is currently open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 4 PM and operates all year. Due to popular demand, we are planning to expand our services to include Tuesdays and Fridays, and a waiting list is available for those days.
